Ace director S.S. Rajamouli's forthcoming experimental flick Eega has completed the first schedule.

While disclosing his satisfaction over the first schedule on his Twitter page, the director wrote: "Completed 1st schedule of eega. small hiccups in the beginning but ended on a vry satisfactory note. very happy with Sudeep Samantha and Nani."

According to sources, Eega is made with a whopping Rs. 22 crores budget and around 5 crores would be spent on graphics alone. Young hero Nani and ravishing beauty Samantha are the lead pair, while Kannada actor Sudeep is the villain.

Music is by M.M. Keeravani, camera by James Flodes and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film is produced by Korrapati Sai under the banner of Varahi Chalana Chitram.

Eega commences today

The regular shooting of director S.S. Rajamouli's experimental flick Eega (Housefly), starring Nani and Samantha, commenced today (February 21) in Hyderabad. The film was launched recently.

Said to be a revenge drama, Eega is being made under the banner of Korrapati Sai's Varahi Chalana Chitra.

The director is using a high-end digital camera to shoot key scenes of this film, which will be a graphical extravaganza. Kannada actor Sudeep is the villain. M.M. Keeravani scores music. James Fould handles the camera.
