My darls won nandi too

Hot Actress Samantha, who stole the hearts of film lovers with her impressive debut in ‘Ye Maya Chesave’, has won the Nandi Special Jury Award for the year 2010. She is exultantly proud to receive the awards for her very first film.

“When I was doing ‘Ye Maya Chesave’, I have only one thing in my mind that I shouldn’t disappoint Gautham Menon who has chosen me as the female lead of the film. My job was to do 100% justice to the role of Jesse. I never thought of how it will be received by the audience and critics or whether I will bag any award. But, I felt very happy after the release of the film as everyone appreciated my performance. To receive this award made me even more happy,” said Samantha.

The actress shared her happyness with her mentor and debut film director Gautham Menon.

“I shared my happyness with Gautham Menon, who was responsible for all this. Even, he won the Best Screenplay Writer award for his fantastic work in ‘Ye Maya Chesave’. I called him on the phone and said thanks and congrats,” said the actress.

Samantha also has plans to dub her voice for her films in future.

“I’m talking to everyone on the sets in Telugu only. Though my language is making them laugh, later on they are correcting my mistates. I will dub for my role in future,” Samantha told.
