Chennai
fans of Samantha Ruth Prabhu will not be seeing much of the actress any
more. The actress has shifted base to Hyderabad from Chennai, where she
has been stationed for a long time. Its learned that Samantha decided
to move to Hyderabad, since she has quite a few Telugu film offers at
hand.
Despite signing up to Ravi Varman’s
‘Moscowin Kavery’ in 2007, her first release happened to be the
critically acclaimed 2010 Telugu romance film, ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’,
directed by Gautham Menon. She has then later appeared in critically
acclaimed and commercially successful Telugu movies like ‘Brindavanam’
and ‘Dookudu’ establishing herself as a leading contemporary actress in
Telugu Cinema.
Samantha has some very promising
projects in Tamil as well, and would be seen in ‘Kadal’ that is being
directed by none other than Mani Ratnam. The director has been reported
to be much impressed by Samantha’s performance in the film and the
film’s release would open up new opportunities before the actress. She
would also be seen in Gautham Menon’s ‘Nee Thaane En Ponvasantham’.
