Looks like actress Samantha is back in the running for the numero uno spot in Kollywood post her brief disappearance from the Tamil cine world.
Though she lost Shankar's 'I' and Mani Ratnam's Kadal, the latest news we hear is that she has bagged the Suriya flick to be directed by Lingusamy. A source tells us that she's indeed the chosen one and that she will be signing on the dotted line very soon.
Her Naan Ee has had stupendous success and she is just wrapping up Neethane Enn Ponnvasantham as well. Samantha told us recently that she can't wait to listen to more scripts and sign on new films in Kollywood and Tollywood. As of now she has three pending releases in Telugu.
